Summer is my first love. I shudder as it’s fingers for the first time intertwine with mine. A race of the senses, A warm evening breeze and the promise of berries to dance upon my lips.

For lovers of cheese, I highly recommend the stinky (epoise like) Winnemere (end of its season) and Von Trapp. Both delightfully flavorful and robust. If you are having friends, or just love a seasonal local cheese plate, I’d recommend: Triple Cream or Fresh Chevre to start, Tomme de Brebis or Magic Mountain (both sheep’s milk tommes), Clothbound cheddar, then either Winnemere or Von Trapp, and Bayley Hazen Blue to finish.
