The greatest joys are shared.

We created our Harvest Share program in 2005 as a unique way for our community to more directly connect to us, our farm, and the food we produce and sell.

By pre-purchasing Harvest Shares you actively invest in the future of Killdeer Farm, helping with start-up costs like seeds, organic fertilizer, equipment maintenance, labor, insurance, etc.

Our CSA program gives you the freedom and flexibility to visit us at the farm stand any day(s) of the week to choose only the fresh produce, etc. that you want. Your purchases are subtracted from the balance of your investment with a built-in discount. And, since your investment helps us cover our start-up and purchasing costs, your shares are good not only for our plants and produce, but for everything we sell at the farm and stand.

You can also feel good about the fact that your Killdeer Harvest Shares support rural family farming; support certified organic and other sustainable farming practices; reduce fossil fuel usage and emissions used in packaging and transportation; encourage biodiversity; and keep your food dollars in the local economy.
